How to take our courses

  1. Register and create a user name and password.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Click on “Take this course” and make a payment.
  4. The class will appear after the payment has been made.
  5. Listen to or read your course materials. Use the review at the end of every section to prepare for your exam.
  6. Take your exam. You will need to score a 70% or higher to pass. You have five total attempts. You will have two hours to take the exam.
  7. Fill out feedback survey.
  8. Check your email. Your printable certificate of completion will be emailed to you.

Are online classes approved by the Texas Department of Health Massage Therapy board?
As of 2009 the state of Texas passed a legislation stating online classes were allowed to fulfill your continuing education requirements for maintaining your license. Visit Acceptable Contining Education for Massage Therapists.

What if I don’t live in Texas anymore, but I’m still licensed in Texas? Can I still take your classes?

Yes.

Are your classes really only $49.00 or $59.00?

Classes are $49.00 for the 6 hour CE course and $59.00 for the 12 hour CE course. There are no additional charges applied. This will pay for practices quizzes, the printable material to study, the audio and the exam along with your certificate of completion. Our classes are affordable and yet full of information and options on how to learn.

Can I use checks or credit cards?

Credit Cards are accepted, however we do not accept checks

Is your website secure? Do you keep my information private?

Yes! Our website is very secure and your information remains completely private.

Will I get a receipt for my purchase?

Yes. Your receipt will be emailed to you.

Help – I’m having trouble checking out!

When checking out please make sure to fill out all required billing details.  Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.  You’ll also want to make sure that you’re typing in a valid email address, phone number and zip code.  Once you’ve correctly entered the required billing information you’ll be able to proceed to PayPal by clicking on the ‘proceed to PayPal’ button.  If you already have a PayPal account simply log in and then click the ‘pay now’ button.  If you don’t already have a PayPal account, you’ll need to click the ‘Create a PayPal account’ option and create your PayPal account and enter your debit or credit card information.  In order to assist you further with any specific issues related to the checkout process please contact us and our support team will work to resolve the issue.

Why do I have to keep logging in?

Each time you visit the site, or after a period of inactivity, you will need to log into the site again. This helps ensure that your account is not compromised or used by another person.

About Our Classes

How do I get the class?  Will you mail me the class?

To gain access to a course, you’ll need to first register with the site.  Once you’ve registered, you’ll then be able to log in to the site where you’ll see that you now have access to the ‘shop’ page from the main menu.  From the ‘shop’ page you’ll be able to select your course and add it to the shopping cart.  From the shopping cart you’ll be able to begin the checkout process.  Once you’ve checked out through PayPal and have returned to the site, you’ll be able to access your course from the ‘courses’ page from the main menu.

How long do I have to complete the class?

You can take the class at your own convience and study the material. You will have access to the course information for ???? and then you will take the exam. You will have 5 attempts at taking the exam and passing with a 70% or above. You will have a total of 2 hours to take the final exam.

How do I log back in to get to my class?

To login to the site just click the ‘login’ link in the upper right hand corner of the site.  Once logged in you’ll be able to access your course from the ‘courses’ page from the main menu.

How long does it take to actually read your class? Do I really need to set aside 12 hours?

It takes longer for some people to read than others and we have a lot of information in our classes. Our Online classes are presented in a way that not only meets the state requirements, but provide the same amount of information as if you were taking the class in person with an instructor. You have an unlimited amount of time to review the course materials, but are limited to two hours to take the exam.

Exam and Certificate of Completion

Is the exam open-book?

Yes. All material is printable and available in written or auditory format.

Does the exam time out? Can I start it and come back to it later?

No. You have two hours to complete your exam once you have started it. You will not be able to close the exam after starting it and continue it later.

What if I have problems taking the exam? What do I do?

Our courses do require that JavaScript be enabled within your browser to function properly.  By default JavaScript is enabled within most browsers, but if you’re unable to progress through the course please make sure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser’s settings.   In order to further assist with any specific issues related to taking the exam please contact us and our support team will work to resolve the issue.

What is involved in the exam? How do I take it?

Taking one of our courses is a simple process. When beginning a course you’ll be given access to the first unit within the first course module.  Once you’ve read that unit’s content simply click the ‘Mark as Completed’ button at the bottom of the unit and you’ll be given credit for that unit which will then unlock the next unit.  To proceed to the next unit simply click on the ‘Next Unit’ button (If you’ve completed previous units you can go back to those by clicking the ‘Previous Unit’ button).  To work your way through a course simply follow those steps.  Once you’ve worked your way through all of the modules you’ll be presented with one final module unit containing the final exam for the course. 

Taking an exam is an equally simple process.  For each question simply select or type in your answer and then click the ‘Save & Next Question’ button (You can always go back to a previous question by clicking the ‘Previous Question’ button).  Your question will be saved and you’ll then be presented with the next question.  Once you’ve gone through and answered all of the questions you’ll be able to review your questions and then submit them for grading.

Do you send the Certificate of Completion to the State to renew my license?

No. We do not. Your Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you and you will print it. After that, it is your responsibility to renew your license and pay the fee with the state of Texas.

When will I get my Certificate of Completion?

After you pass the exam with a 70% or higher, your certificate of completion will be emailed to you right away.

Can I print my Certificate of Completion?

Yes. You will be able to print your certificate of completion.
